What Has Her Contribution Influenced?
Dana Tamachi has inspired the field of typography with her logo of Louise Fili in several different ways including using her iconic blend of chalky handwriting with the digital space, the open way she expresses herself with typography, and the effectiveness of her typography in branding. Her unique handwritten style seeing use on digital platforms challenges the notion that typefaces need to be clean and rigidly designed which inspires other typographers to explore what they can do with hand-drawn typefaces on digital platforms.
